so they couldn't understand why their father didn't tell them a young man had moved into the house. and misty and april, mothers themselves now, popped around all the time to see their dad, talked to him most every day. the house, rundown, ticky tack, always needed something, but it was the home they had grown up in and loved. It was a modest little place up here in the mountains.
